Today, I rode 21 miles around Hermitage, PA. It was about 40 degrees and there was some definite wind. It was fun and I'm so glad to start out the year by doing something healthy!
These are Grandma's pictures.....we picked them up from Walmart and haven't delivered them yet. Some are from Thanksgiving (I'm in red) and some are from Christmas (I'm in burgandy and purple--depending on which Christmas). These are the pictures where heads aren't cut off. Enjoy!

October 30
OK, so I'm a little slow about getting these pictures posted. At least you are getting to see them! On my birthday, some of my friends met me at PSU for the day. It was great fun. We went to lunch at the Diner, which was a quite disappointing. I did buy some grilled stickies to bring home and that part was good.
Then, we did some downtown shopping and reminisced about the good old days.
We headed to the Creamery for an afternoon break. Boy, they sure give you a lot of ice cream--I can't believe it. I had my favorite, Death by Chocolate.
We went to the Nittany Lion shrine and took some pictures. I was disappointed that the picture of me was so dark. My sister got a better one and I'll make a copy.
We did a ton of walking....some complained more than others. I was so excited to find that I had all kinds of energy. We went to the chapel and saw the new additions. We went to the HUB and hung out for a while. (So the babies could rest up!)
For dinner, we went to the Allen Street Grill. I was delighted to find the employees dressed up for Halloween! The maitre'd was dressed in a suit, but had a feather boa and was, I think, rather happy to be wearing make-up. I had a great steak salad with spinach and I'm still thinking about it!
After dinner, we all walked back to our cars and said our goodbyes as we all had long drives home. Mine was the longest at 3.5 hours. At least I had good company.
It was a good birthday and I have to say has made 29 much better than 28 ever was.
Pictures to follow!
